We will try to help as many people as we can. Some events and projects that are or will be under consideration by The 243 Foundation include:
1. Fire Education - At work, home, and school, there are fire hazards. Everyone should be prepared to deal with a fire emergency. We have planned to cooperate with local fire departments to promote fire awareness programs at schools, universities, and corporations.
2. Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Detector Donation - A smoke detector seems to be standard equipment for homes and businesses in 2008. Yet, not everyone lives or works with the protection of a smoke detector. The same is true of carbon monoxide detectors. With that in mind, The 243 Foundation has planned to cooperate with the Hoboken Fire Department to dispense smoke and/or carbon monoxide detectors to the residents of 1203 Washington Street.
3. Academic Scholarship - Assisting the education of students involved in South Jersey Region AZA, Rutgers University, and Phi Delta Theta will be an opportunity for The 243 Foundation to give to the organizations that mattered most to Seth.
4. Basketball Tournament - The 243 Foundation will consider sponsoring a 3-on-3 basketball charity event for AZA members and alumni and/or for members and alumni of Phi Delta Theta.
5. Silent Auction - The 243 Foundation will consider a silent auction night for donated sports memorabilia.
The Officers and the Board of Directors will consider the potential courses of action and will pursue each goal, present and future, with vigilance.
