On March 12, 2008, the New Jersey Nets honored Seth with the “Hometown Hero” award. Before tipoff at center court, the Nets presented a plaque in Seth’s honor to members of The 243 Foundation.

The YES Network interviewed The 243 Foundation’s Adam Dembowitz before the ceremony in which Seth Dembowitz was posthumously honored with the Hometown Hero Award.

During halftime, Nets radio announcer Chris Carrino interviewed Adam Dembowitz about The 243 Foundation.
